Lord Arthur Savile is told by a palm reader that he is destined to murder a distant relative. So, he decides to put off his wedding to Sybil to give him time to get the murder over and done with!
But who should he kill? And by what method?

It turns out that murder is not as easy as Lord Arthur imagines. And how many times will Sybil and her parents tolerate a further postponement to the wedding? Will there be a happy ending and does Lord Arthur finally manage to commit an actual murder before he and Sybil marry?
