Angie's friend Nicola has arranged for her to meet
her boss, Brian, on a blind date. The meeting place is to be Charing
Cross Station. Brian is late and Angie is in torment about whether
she should in fact be there. He arrives, minus his usual glasses,
and each fails to recognize the other. Eventually they talk to
each other but disguise the real reason for their presence at
the station. After fruitless chatter they go their separate ways,
never in fact discovering they had intended to meet.
