SQUIRE: – (Posh) (Sir Ferdinand Fondle) Early 40s upwards.  A suave baddie. 
DAPHNE DAFFODILLY: (Posh) 17 upwards.  An innocent, blushing English Rose. 
DIGBY DIEHARD - (Posh) 21 upwards.  A square jawed, not too bright, hero. 
JONAS DOUBLEDIGGER: – (Mummerset) 18 upwards. A village yokel. 
BETSY BUMWEED: (Mummerset)  - 17 upwards. A village girl, Jonas’s girlfriend (Mummerset)
CLEMENTINE: (Posh) – late 30’s upwards.  Mysterious. 
HIERONYMOUS: – (Posh) A little boy aged 10 – should be played by a tall adult! Think Little Lord Fauntelroy. 
INSANE IRENE: - (Posh) Emmeline’s Mum.  So could be aged late thirties upwards depending on who plays Emmeline. Insane. 
JENNY JENKINS: – (Posh Mummerset) 17 upwards. A village girl – all giggles and cleavage. (Probably doubles as BETSY)
GOOD GRAVE-DIGGER: M/F (Guildenstern) (Mummerset) A Gravedigger with a conscience.
WICKED GRAVE-DIGGER: M/F (Rosencrantz) (Mummerset) A Gravedigger without a conscience
BOW STREET RUNNER M/F (Cockney) A stock copper.
FRED THE FIDDLER: Played by someone very like Peter Sellars.
