Happiness reigns in the village of Fondleford; the delightful Daphne Daffodilly is about to marry dashing Digby Diehard, but they have reckoned without the village Squire, the foul Sir Ferdinand Fondle. He has his own plans for delicious Daphne, and will go to any lengths to achieve them.

What follows is a tale of dastardly deeds, merciless machinations and terrible treachery.
