In 2004, The Woodhouse Players entered the national 24 hour filmmaking competition. Before doing the competition proper we made this film as a "dummy run".
Drawing the genre "Cowboy/Western" and the title "Complex" at random, we had just 24 hours to plot, costume, film, edit and score this movie. Cleverly, we opted to make a silent film, which saved a lot on filming time and dialogue-writing. The story is of "The Kid" who thinks he's a man but finds he has a lot to learn.
