 H I S T O R Y

We've been doing productions in Leytonstone (and nearby) since 1983. We produce a lot of new writing and plays marked with * were given their first performance by Woodhouse.

New writing by Woodhouse members is especially encouraged.

Members turn their hands to various forms of drama, typically one-act plays and pantomimes. Our most prolific playwrights so far have been Ian Halverson (2 one-act plays and 5 pantos), Stephen Balchin (7 one-act plays), Thos Ribbits (4 pantos) and Matt Mitchell (2 pantos and 1 one-act play). At the time of writing, Woodhouse is producing more original material than ever before. Find out more about writing for the group by clicking here.
